    Question About Combining/Upgrading Amps

    Currently:
    HT-2 running four in-boat xs-650's at 150w each
HT-4 running a pair of REV 8's at 300w each

In an effort to clean up and maybe simplify my setup, I'm wondering is there one amp that can do the work of these two? I like the output with the current amps so I wouldn't want any less power, but the same or even a little more wouldn't be a bad thing..

The Wet Sounds Syn-DX6 would deliver up to 400W rms for the Rev-8 and 150W rms to each of the 4 in-boats.

With that said, I like your setup as long as the HT-4 is bridged right. Never a bad thing to divide the load between two separate power supplies. The RCA configuration would not change though.

Ok cool. I'm not having any issues, but was just thinking it would look cleaner. I guess if it's not broke I won't try to fix it. I get what your saying about seperate loads. The HT-4 has channels 1/2 bridged to one pod and 3/4 to the other. They were that way when I got the boat and I've never messed with it.

400w to the REVs sounds louder though............
