Wow!! Nice finished product... Wanna come to Arkansas and do one for me??? I actually had that exact d6 sub a few years back in a ported box pushed with a Kicker DX700... You won't be disappointed

thanks Bryan , i would love to come down, don't think in the cards though. i still can't believe the diff. if you can build a box yourself this is prob one of the cheapest best upgrades to do.

Hey Mike if you see this, I just posted in the JL amp thread and my buddy sells the shuriken batts, so I need a new batt to run the stereo, I have a syn 6 and and rockford ( i believe around 300-350watt) for the towers, what size would you recommend and at what point do you need an bigger alternator. Are they good cranking batts as well. thanks again

They work fine for a cranking battery. The 80ah would do fine.

For a house bank, more is better but it depends on what you can make fit and how long you would want to play at anchor.

Shore chargers are better than big alternators.

Hey Mike looking at the skbt 80, I believe specs say it is 16v, is that ok for my application. thanks

the SKBT80 is a 12V battery and the rigth one for a cranking bank.

ok thanks, I don't need it for cranking, I was just curious if they were a good cranking batt, as i see they have them. cool that's the one ill prob get then, I can't even listen to the stereo for a few minutes without it dying now, was trying to tune the stereo and couldn't finish before it all started to crap out.
