Auto Volume Control

Auto volume doesnt seem to work, hit the button light turns green but the volume doesnt change as the boat speeds up. The boat is a '14 Z1 with powered premium system with syn 4 and rev 8s added. Any thoughts?

I have same boat, didn't know it even had auto volume.

Go in to setup and set the gain. It defaults to zero.

Auto volume is a thing on tige???? That would be so handy when stoping and going with surfers. Do any of you know if the tige r20 has that option with no tige touch and just the clarion stereo????

Need to go into setup on TT, which is on the same screen as the blower and bilge on the far right. Touch "auto volume" then press the dim screen button on TT and change the setting to "1, 2, or 3. 3 works the best for us. Love that feature.

I use setting 1. It won't be on the R20 as the stereo needs to know the RPM.

Is 2014 the first year for this feature? My 2011 doesn't have it. Anyone know if a software update would enable the function on older boats?

It would be a great feature to have for the other people when driving my boat. I've mastered the turn the volume up on throttle and down as soon as I come off the throttle. For other people a bit less experienced there is too much going on to touch the volume. I've tried the cell phone apps in the past and I just never found they worked well.

as of this spring I should have the latest software as I asked the dealer to update before I picked it up. You should def. have it on yours. its in the setup under switches where the bilge, blower, etc, then scroll down to and set it to a certain number.

it works well, but you still have to tweak it a little as sometimes it will go to loud.
