an awful lot of power for the money...
not after anything too extravagant just something that can drive 2 channels @ ~200w @2ohm without noticeable distortion.

RMS is what counts. That 800 is an unrealistic marketing number created by the add department. It shows to have an RMS of 125W x 2 @ 4 ohm. Even then, im a little skeptical at a class-A/B amp doing 200W rms x 2 @ 2 ohm with a single 25A fuse and 14ga power leads. Its say more like 50A rm @ 4 and 75A @ 2 ohm.

Class-A/D can be 60% less efficient then class-D
    Fixed hi-pass @ 200hz means no active cross-over tuning.

Boss is right at a the bottom of price point equipment. What are you looking to drive exactly? for more money, a Kicker marine amp is a solid performer with a quality build. Real value.
