Ok, you're goo with 2.7 ohm at the speaker lead ends at the amp. Sub and wires are good.
Hook the sub back up to chnl 6
swap the RCAs between chnl 1 and 2 and 5 and 6. Power up and see of the sub volume knob on the 420 controls the in-boat volume.

Sub works on Channel 6. No boat/tower separation on volume.

Are you sure you have the RCA cables correct? Each is tagged with a color and each port on the 420 is labeled. This have to all match up between the 420 and the amp they go to. If not, well, stuff dont play.

On the 420, you have green and red pair but on the Syn-6, you have green and orange.

Ok, lets leave the cables as is on the 420 and work at the amp end since its hard to see those in the pics.
Blue and yellow should be paired at the Syn-6 and plugged into the chnl 5 and chnl 6 ports
green and red should be paired at the syn-6 and plugged into the chnl 1 and chnl 2 ports
This leaves orange and black paired at the Syn-2, which only has two inputs.
If this doesnt get all speakers playing, then you need to check the main input RCAs at the back of the head-unit to make sure they are both plugged into an output. The outputs have black leads, gray leads and purple leads. Any other wire colors and its not an output. Note I said wire color cause all the head-unit rca females are red and white, so look at the wire lead color.

All speakers ARE playing now. I think we got that squared away at least. I lost the separation of tower & boat speakers somewhere in our reconfiguration though. 2nd dial below. Main overall volume still works.
The main should be just that, main volume as its interrupting the input. The tower, in-boat and sub are controlling the volume after the main as it splits x 3 to each zone.
Does the tower or sub dials manipulate the in-boat speakers?
