New Syn 4 and pair of Rev 8s -No sound!

Just finished installing 2 Rev 8s and Syn 4, everything looks good but no sound, nothing at all. The boat is a '14 Z1 that has the factory powered premium 6 speakers with sub and Syn 6. I must be missing something simple?

Tell us what does look good?

amp have a green light, red light no light?

What color head-unit RCA outputs did you connect to for the new Syn-4?

I tried that, swapped from red leads to purple, nothing. Tried rear to front nothing again. I'm going to the speakers with a DVOM.

        Thanks

Amp has a solid green light. flashes same as the syn 6 which is working fine.

Ok, Red RCAs are AUX input, so stock with purple, white or black, which ever pair is open and not used by the Syn-6. If using the white or black, make sure the fade is centered. If using the purple, make sure the non-fade sensitivity is not zeroed.

Green light tells us the amp is powered up and in normal mode, so we are dealing with a signal input issue, switch setting or speakers not wired.

Can you take a pic of the settings end of the amp and post it?

May need a close up, really interested in a few of the settings. Also, are the gains at MIN or 60%? The Rev-8's are bridged, correct?

Yes I believe bridged, one speaker on front outer most pos and neg and one on rear outer most pos and neg.

That pic is good. Answer about the RCAs, the gains and the speaker wires and we can get something figured out.

Gains at 0, connected to purple RCAs and bridged speaker wiring. All the settings should be at the factory settings, i haven't adjusted anything was waiting until it was up and running.

There are no factory settings, so that will be the next step, but 1st, we need to get some music. All those settings need to be custom specific to your application.

Call me if you want, it will be easier than typing

I'm out of time tonight and will pick it back up again this weekend. I appreciate all of you help. I want to check the speakers and speaker wires before i waste your time but I will post something before I call.

                            Thanks!

Dont worry about wasting my time, right now we'd probably get an AM station out of Moscow tuned in

Seriously, there are a few of those settings that are way off, so if you get the speakers to play music, dont push them, till those settings get in a ballbark spot.
