It will fix either concerning the remote turn on wire.. So your point? Think to much...

My boat is in the shop getting a new prop shaft seal however I'll do the test when I get it back. I don't assume there will be a power issue at all since I have two brand new deep cell batteries powering the amps (different circuit than starting)...on my 2010 RZ2 I only have a on/off batt switch..I don't have the combine function since I have the isolator that automatically handles this. I really just think these amps are very finicky since the WS420 (also hooked into the Clarion remote wire) turns back on with no problems.
Also of note, I'm going to power my speaker LEDs off this new relay (remote wire terminal) because there is no real good way to ensure they only get power when the head unit is on unless I run something all the way back to the tige touch somewhere for power. The LED controller is currently tapped into the power leads for the amps.
The other week I towed back from the lake and my LEDs somehow turned on (something prolly bumped the remote). It sucks but verifies that my batt on/off switch is only for the starting circuit/cranking battery meaning the Deep Cell circuit (power to the amps) is always powered, obviously this isn't an issue since the amps won't be on because the Tige touch can't turn on thus the head unit can't turn on to send the signal to the amps.
Sorry this is deep winded but I guess I'm thinking out loud. lol..

There may not be a voltage issue at the source, but there could be low voltage at the head-unit. its not uncommon to have a 1V drop between the head-units B+ and the remote out. So if the voltage coming in is low, there may not be enough on the remote turn-on. This is where a little diagnostic time will isolate the issue. Adding a rely would like resolve the amp turn on issue, but would do nothing to address the poor connection/low voltage to the head-unit.

Yes, if you are going to power an accessory like an LED controller only when the stereo is on, a relay is the way to do it.

Swap the on/off do a dual bank and never have this again.
