scream marine used and primarily uses birch wood or composite material on all their box builds. They spray a coating on the birch boxes and a line x type material also so its like a 2 step process. They then put spacer usually made out of composite similar to a cutting board under each box to keep them off the floor.

Good to know! LineX seems to be the easiest and most cost effective.

I think Marine epoxy is the solution if you want to keep your box forever!
