    Wet Sounds LED Rings?

I'm guessing the actual cast rings for the Rev 10's are same whether you order RGB or non-RGB?

Thinking about ordering non-RGB rings to save some money and then just using some of the RGB Strip lights I have left over from other projects...

Theres only a $25 per pair difference between the single color blue ring set and RGB. Here is what you get for that extra $25. RGB strips that are 600 count p/5M strip with leads that are soldered on via a machine. Coming from someone who has solder more strips then he cares to count (did 6 today), i will take a pre-made strip for that. RGB strips are the hardest to solder. Single color strips require 2 leads and are about 3/8 wide and RGB strips require 4 leads and are 7/16 wide. That puts each contact spot that much closer.

To answer your question, yes, same ring is used. In one, you get a single blue and in the other kit, you get RGB strips.

      Yeah, I hear ya.

My deal is that I have 1 set of Rev 10's with Blue LED's already. So for consistency sake, my plan was to use the same RGB lights for both pairs of speakers...

Now if I could get 2 sets of the pre-soldiered RGB strips, and just one set of rings, it'd probably be worth it.

I did 2 pairs of tower speakers, 2 pairs of in-boats, and 10 cupholders in my old boat. So I can definitely appreciate what a pain in the *** it is soldering RGB stips.
