My boat has a original CMD4 in it and i guess the screen on it will not work. All the buttons work as well as the 2 remotes (one at helm, one at transom), but the screen on the faceplate will not work. I tried to reset the unit and that didnt help at all. The system is still useable for CDs but i would like the unit working so i can use the radio tuner and see what else is all on the screen. So what are my options to get this working again? I hate to junk the unit as i don't think the 2 wired remotes will work with the newer units. Anything i can try or should i just try to find a good used one?
