    Pro60 MB8

Thought my old speakers had one of the 4 out so I bought a used pair of Pro60's and a used pair of MB-8 (Double-up) system. Got all wired today and the same speaker does not work. I have already ran new wires so I don't think it is a bad cable. I am not a stereo guy so if I call this wrong please forgive me, is it possible that I have a channel bad in my amp? It is a new head unit.

What amp do you have powering the tower and how are the speakers wire?

I will get amp name and model tomorrow but I just replaced all speaker wires to Monster Wire.

Here is the amp I have.

I could unhook the four speaker wires going to it to figure out if it is the amp or something else but was just curious if anyone has ever seen a port in an amp go bad? The other three speakers ROCK.

The AC voltage output from each chnl can be measured. You can also measure the impedance of speaker circuit.

No offense Mike but you are way way way over my head. I am a relative new comer to the audio game. I have no gages to check anything that's why it said I could undo all the speaker wires to figure out what speaker is which wire then put the bad wire in a known good spot and if I have sound then it is the amp, if it still has no sound then I must have hosed the wire while replacing all the tower wires.

If you have new speakers and speaker in the same position is still not working and you pulled new wire for all the speakers and same speaker/chnl still not working its really looking like an amp. A $20 digital volt/ohm meter will be a great asset. Try swapping the RCA's around at the amp, to see of the problem stays or moves.
