Feedback Noise From REV 10's

I am getting some feedback noise in the form of a buzzing sound from 2 of my REV 10's on my tower. I have 4 REV 10's on my tower and the outer 2 are the ones giving me noise feedback. All of the REV 10's play the audio fine but the outer 2 include the feedback. This also only happens when I have the motor running. If I have the ignition in ACC or one click to the right, I have no buzzing feedback at all. Turn the motor over and buzzing feedback in the outer 2 REV 10's.

Any ideas?

Mine does this as well. Buzzing only happens when the motor runs. I also have lines that run through the tige touch screen when the motor is running but not when the engine is off. My boat is at the factory right now hoping they can figure it out.

Are all 4 driven by the same amp or 2 amp?

Does the level of the noise increase with engine speed?

Is it only audible when the music is not playing or playing at a low level, then inaudible when the music levels goes up?

Been a while since I listened to mine but I do not recall it getting louder with engine speed. Does not sound like alternator feed back. Sounds like a bad ground or something to that effect.

So...... I dont have the Tige Touch issue that loudelectronics has but my speaker issue is the exact same.

I bought my boat used so Im in the dark about the stereo install but the system is powered by three fosgate amps. Im assuming one for in boats, one for sub, and one for tower.

As for my buzzing... at no volume, low and mid volumes the buzz is definitely noticeable but at high volumes it seems like you cant hear the buzzing as much but i think the music sort of drowns out the buzzing when its turned up loud.

I dont feel like mine gets louder with engine speed either.

You will absolutely need to dissect the system, in order to determine what amp or amps are driving the tower speakers and what RCA source is used for input to that/those amps. It is strange that only one of the 2 pair of tower speakers is omitting the unwanted noise. Once you know how its configured, there are a few step that can be taken to isolate the source of the noise.

So.... got into the boat tonight and figured out the stereo setup... somewhat.

Amps are:

Fosgate Punch 400-2
Fosgate Punch 400-4 (2 of these)
Fosgate Punch 1000-bd1

My stereo system consists of in boats, 4 rev 10's on tower and a sub in the forward port compartment with the amps.

Both 4 channels amps had 1 set of rca's and 2 sets of speaker wire coming out of it.
The 2 channel had 1 set of rca's and 2 sets of speaker wire coming out of it.
The 1000 is powering the sub... i'm assuming.

Double checked what I had posted before. When the ignition switch is in ACC or one lick to the right, no feedback at all. Engine running and instant feedback in outer two rev 10's. I checked all the ground on my motor and my connections on the battery and everything looks good. I have video below for the amps and sub. Ill get video of connections tomorrow. I'm stumped at this point.

Im going to guess that the pair of 400.4's are running the 4 Rev-10. To confirm what amp is actually driving what speaker(s), with the system off, unplug a set off RCA's and power the system up and see what speakers are not omitting music. Power down again, plug that set back in and unplug another set of RCA and repeat.

Once you determine which amp is driving the tower speakers with the unwanted noise, you need to physically trace the battery+ and battery- cables for that amp, back to the source. Let us know if those cables connect to the same battery source as the rest of the amp, specifically, the other tower amp. Next, trace the RCA cables for those 2 amp back to their source. Are they coming from the same head-unit output and split or are they each connected to their own outputs on the head-unit? Try swapping them with each other and see if the noise stays or moves to the other set of tower speakers. After that, compare the gain dial level on the 2 amps driving the 4 tower speakers. Which one is set higher?
