Adding a second set of rev 10's to my Z3

    Hey guys,

I know this has been beat to death but I have a 2012 Z3 with the factory set of rev 10's and 6 in boat speakers.

I would like to add another set of rev 10's but curious how to power them properly. Can the amps that come from Tige handle them or do I need to add a third amp ?

    Thanks in advance guys.

If your current original set is driven with the Wet Sounds Syn-2, then yes, it will handle a second pair by nothing more more then connecting the leads to amp.

But, it will not by any means, push those 4 10" HLCDs to their potential. I would suggest swapping the Syn-2 out for a Wet Sounds SD-2. That will deliver 300+ to each Rev-10. Another soild option would be the Arc Audio KS600.2.

Whoa there is nothing cheap about the sd-2 lol

How would you run the sd-2 to 4 tower speakers ? They would be bridged to 2 channels

The SD-2 is about the cost of 2 amps, other then you've already invested in the one, but it can be sold to off set.

The SD-2 is a 2 chnl amp same as the Syn-2, just more output thats better suited for the Rev-10. So wiring would be the same, one pair wired in parallel on one chnl and the 2nd pair also wired in parallel on the other chnl.
