    Pro 485 not working

My pro485 tower speaker is not working I noticed a couple of weeks ago it was cutting in and out. I have two pro 60s comming off of the same amp and they are working not sure if the connector can come apart or become defective. I took the connector end apart that I wired up the end the speaker wires go into and everything looks good. Any ideas on what this might be is there a way to check the wires comming to the speaker to see if they are getting fire? I know they are low voltage and not sure what kinda readings they should have

    Thanks for any advice

Since the entire pod is is inoperative, the odds are its a wire connection at the amp, the male or female pod connector or the RCA signal into to the amp.

If you have a DVOM, you can disconnect the pod's leads at the amp and measure the impedance of the pod and the wiring going to it. It should be right at 4 ohm

You can swap the RCA leads feeding the Pro-60 and Pro485 and see if the issue stays with the Pro485 or moves to the Pro-60.

Start there and let me know.

Mike, I checked all of the pod connectors The AMP only has one set of RCA cables coming out of the ws240. I gave up for the night....... frustration only causing me to break things!

Checking with an ohm meter can show us things the eyes cant see.

The amp has a set of RCA inputs for both chnls 1 and 2 and 3 and 4. Swap the inputs and see what happens.

I swapped the RCA's to channels 3 and 4 and the pro 485 still isn't working and the port side pro 60 does not work when I changed the RCA. Do you think this is something I should take to a stereo shop I hate to smoke a amp or a speaker
