Speaker issues (I guess like everyone else)

My speakers all work but really only the two in the bow work well. They put out 90% of the sound and the three in the back and 4 on the tower hardly put out any volume. When I switch the fade on the deck so it should just be the rear and tower I have to crank the sound way up to get anything out of them. I am novice when it comes to speakers and marine audio. Should I just take it to someone and see if they can adjust something or is this a quick fix that you experts are laughing at because its so basis? Thanks for the advice

    Quarter,

    If will list:
    head-unit make and model
    in-boat amp make and model
    tower amp make and model
    Tower speaker make and model
Sub size and if its a box or not. If you open starboard bow access, you will either see the box or the back of the sub.

We can point in the right direction. Sounds like it could be some simple tuning and maybe some RCA cable re-configuring. Your boat should have 3 pairs of in-boats, so I bet if you look under the helm, you will see that 4th main cabin 6.5" speaker.

Mike here is my best recall. I don't have the boat right now

      Clarion cmd 4
2 kicker amps another kicker thing that looks like an amp but has x over gain and bass dials
3 pairs of kicker 6.5 with seperate tweeters
The tower speakers are also 6.5 with tweeters (don't remember the make they came with the Sampson tower)
      Sub woofer in a box I think it's a 10

This could be the fly in the ointment.

@ chpthril Any recommendations for a novice or should I just take it in to a local shop?

Without knowing the specifics of what that Kicker piece is and how its exactly integrated into the system, I could only speculate.

A thing with gain, x-over anad bass dials sure sounds like an amplifer to me...

IF you can get a picture of the amps and the amp-looking thing Mike and I can get it figured out
