    Funny speaker issue

I am currently upgrading the stereo on my 13 RZR that came with just the basic 4 speaker stereo. I just had to run out and check the speakers after reading a few posts of people saying their 4 speakers were paralleled onto just 2 channels at the deck. I think mine are all four on different channels as I can isolate to just one speaker by using the fade and balance. I can get to all for by using back/left, back/right, front/ left, front/ right. Am I correct to assume then that all 4 speakers are run independently?

Funny side note. Back right..is back right. Back left...you guessed it back left. But, Front right on the deck=front left speaker and front left on the deck is the front right speaker. Doesn't anyone QC these?? Too funny.

Also I am going to have to add wire to get to the amp. Is a quality Uline shrink wrap butt connector OK? I know soldering is probably best, but really don't feel comfortable doing it where the wires are buried up under the glove box tied to a bunch of other wires in the harness.

Sounds right to me. With mine they actually spiced the channels by the back of the head unit. The wiring was a real PITA to follow. I will tell you that when I disconnected one channel two speakers stopped working.

That is what I planned as I disconnected them. Figured I would disconnect one set at a time and make sure just one speaker is dropping.
