Tower mounts for Rev-10's

Does anyone know what type of mounts I need to mount a pair of Rev-10's to this tower. Also the local Wetsounds dealer told me that a Syn-6 would power my four in boat speakers, 10" sub and two Rev-10"s. Does this sound correct?

I think tower is going to need "X" mount Wet Sounds tower speakers.

Yes, the Syn-6 could power 4 in-boats, a sub and a pair of tower speakers, but in no way shape or form is it going to drive that setup effectively. The Syn-6 has a retail cost of $900. The speaker power would break down like this:
4 in-boats would get 55W each. This is ok power
the 10" sub would get 155W. This is half of where I would like to be on an XS-10fa
the Rev-10 would get 65W each. The Rev-10 have a 300W rms/600W peak. I dont like a 6.5" coaxial on a tower with this little power

For the same $900, you can get a pair of HT-4's and it would break down like this:
4 in-boats would get 75W each using chnls 1 and 2 of one HT-4
Sub bridged on chnls 3/4 would get 300W
rev-10's bridged on the other HT-4 would get 300W each.

Syn-6 total watts would be 505W rms. The pair of HT-4 would be 1100W rms. The Syn-6 is a Class-A/B and the HT-4 is a Class-D. The HT's are going to be far more efficient and take up about the same realestate.

If you want to spend a little more, then go with a pair of Syn-4's

I just bought a HT-6 and a HT-4 to run the same set up.

Ht-6 will run the 4 inboats and the sub and the HT-4 will run the 2 Revs. I know I asked the same exact question over the winter and got a resounding NO the syn 6 isn't enough.

He quoted me a price of 575.00 for the Syn-6. Should I see if I can get a deal on two Syn-4's or go with the HT-4's? We didn't seem to know that much he kept having to call the store in Portland to ask questions but I know nothing so I can't complain.

The Syn-6 would do fine for the 4 in-boats, but a little light for the sub IMO. You would still need a dedicated amp for the tower. For the same amount of dough as that Syn-6 quote, the HT-6 would give you 110W rms to each of your 4 in-boats with room to add a 3rd, and 300W to the sub. Thats nearly 2x the wattage for the same cost. For your setup, 35% off on that Syn-6 is still not a deal.

I will go with the HT-6 and Ht -4 combo. Also will I be able to turn the tower speakers off and on from my head unit or will everything be on all of the time.?

It can be setup so that the head-units fade can be used to dial down the in-boats or towers, but it can only be down through the head-unit. Now a days, that means scrolling through a few menus to find the fade. if you want true zone control at the helm, you will need to add a piece of equipment like the WS-420SQ or Kicker ZXM-RLC
