I got the Rev 10's installed and they sound awesome, but i have a problem that i can not fIgure out.... Please help!!!! Nothing has changed other than removing a syn4, and one pair of pro80's, and installing a SD2, and two pair of REV10's. I used all the same amp wiring also.
The problem is when i turn the key off, or start the engine the tower speaker pop. (only the tower speakers) I talked to Wet sounds and they said that it sounds like a bad ground to the WS420SQ,, so i checked the ground and its grounded under the dash at a grounding block, but i went ahead and ran a jumper wire strait to the battery, and nothing changed so i left it grounded under the dash. I also notice faint hiss/noise out of the tower speakers when the volume is all the way down. Another thing i noticed was WITH OUT the ground wire hooked up to the WS420SQ the lights where still on but dim, and the hiss/noise was louder. Any ideas?? Oh and i also tried running jumper wires ground/power from WS420SQ to Radio ground/power, and it was worse, but im unsure if the ground was hooked up to a ground? It was a black wire but i could not trace it.
It sounds like it could be that ground wire, but running the jumper to the battery should have fix it.. Any ideas guys?
