Is there an option available for an upgrade to add a stereo/sound system remote control, capable of adjusting speaker volume remotely from the beach, say up to 150+ feet away from where your boat might be moored. Probably would need to be some sort of RF controller. Any ideas? Thanks.

Bluetooth will do what you want, but at 150ft, it might get a little sketchy. Your PM3 or phone becomes the source unit. Actually, I think any RF might be a stretch to work at 150ftMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Both Alpine and Clarion have RF remotes. Alpine has had one for a while, and I think Clarion started selling theirs in 2011.
The model number for the Clarion is MF1: http://www.clarion.com/us/en/product...559425523.html
Alpine's is the RUE-M1RF: http://shop.alpine-usa.com/p/rf-remo...e-applications
Both are labeled "marine" -- they float and are water resistant.
Both advertise a range of 100 feet. I've had both, and I think that's a stretch, particularly since the antenna will likely be behind fiberglass somewhere. Fifty feet is more realistic. On my current boat, I attached the antenna to the transom remote so it's closer to the beach when the boat is anchored (I anchor with the bow facing out). That helped a lot.
We spend a lot of time listening to tunes in the cove, and I consider this a must-have for the stereo (the volume fluctuations in the iPod drive me crazy, so it's nice to be able to control the volume and change songs from the beach).
