    Power distribution

I was wondering if anyone has a good idea for my common power wire distribution. I have pretty much all my audio equipment in the front port side storage locker under the wind shield also all 3 of my batteries are there aswell 3 amps, deck and a few other items wired into the batteries. I have a perko switch that all my positives are wired into built into a nice custom box, but all my common wires go directly onto my battery terminals. This is a pain at the end of the year and beginning when removing my batteries to install on the trickle charger for the winter and also just doesn't look clean. My current thought to solve this nocense is to drill a hole into my box containing the perko switch (wood box) and run a 5/16 bolt through it and attach all the commons and run a 0/1 gauge to the batteries.

Does anyone see any reason why that is a bad idea or have a better idea? Also the wires are all different gauges. Some are about 20 gauge all the way up to 4 gauge. All three batteries are about maxed out in space on their terminals.

Look up what Car audio guys are using for Power Distribution. I think they call them BUS Bars. Find out the actual material of metal they use for the highest conductivity. Also, make sure to seal it from the elements. I would spray that red battery terminal goop all over it.
