Im going to ditch the stock Syn6, and Syn2. Already sold the old amps to a friend.

I will end up with a= SYN1, and 2 SYN4's

I found a deal on a discontinued Sy1, and will attempt to build a ported box for my XXX-12. (Not looking foward to cutting up the kick panel under the helm)

1 Syn4 will power a pair of Pro80's, and the other Syn4 will power 8 inboat XS-650's

Maybe next year i will upgrade my Pro80's to REV10's!

I am very interested in details on the ported sub box.

Duncan, my plan is to cut hole in the kick panel big enough to fit the new ported box through it from the cabin side, then mount the box to the to the floor- careful not to run a screw though the hull. Then i will put a carpeted trim board up to finish it so it looks clean. Not sure about a speaker grille yet... I want one on there but have not seen anything i like.
