I just bought a pair of used Infinity 6000M speakers (crappy, I know, but was able to get them for pocket change so my wife wouldn't find out). Does anyone have a small amp they are looking to part with?

Its not a marine grade amp, but most people dont run marine amps anyways unless its wetsounds or exile. It would be fine as long as you dont plan on getting it wet, depending on where your putting it.Ain't no 1/2 steppin'

That amp puts out 150 RMS x2 channels at 4 ohms. Your speakers are 4 ohm speaker pods, so they'd each see 150 watts rms, which is what they call for. I have no experience with the Infinity 6000m speaker pods, but that amp wouldnt give you any head room if you were wanting to push them 200-250 watts rms, which I wouldnt do anyways. Maybe Chp will chime in if that'd be a good fit for you.Ain't no 1/2 steppin'

Thanks for the help!
When used in the right application and with some precautions and pre-install planning, regular mobile audio amps can be used and will give years of good service. If you are boating in salt or brackish water, a true marine grade amp has its advantages: Sealed terminals, SS hardware, conformal-coated PCB, etc. Just beware, that audio gear simply with an "M" in the model name, or audio gear marketed for boats, doesnt automatically make it marine grade. If necessary, ask the manufacturer exactly what makes their gear built for the marine environment.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
