This was the year that we were finally able to schedule the time to make the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. All I can say is WOW 
Its was cool. Its a huge event that covers all 3 halls of the Vegas convention center, Las Vegas Hotel as well as a good portion of the Venetian Hotel.
We spent almost a week total in Vegas. had Lunch with Bad05 on day and thanks to him for letting me tag along with he and some buds for some shooting in desert. Had dinner one night with Dingle and the Dinglets
and Bad05 and his better half. While eating, Rick Harrison from Pawn Stars came in. One of Dingles boys walked over and talked to him. Rick took a moment to speak to him and shake his hand. Thanks to Dingle for taking us for a quick surf session on lake Mead on Sunday. Dan & Christy joined myself and Bad05. Water and air where in the mid 50's. Most of us had the stones enough to take a run...I wont pont fingers at who didnt
We started the morning over in the Venetian Towers where the home theater equipment was. They where all set up up in the tower suites to give a more home feel to the audition. JBL, Polk and Focal had some sweet stuff.
The bulk of the 12V mobile audio was in the north hall of the LVCC. I got to meet Tim White from Wet Sounds and talk for a few minutes. I was also finally able to meet in person, Phil White from Kicker.
This show gives those in the biz an opportunity to see all the new stuff thats just hitting the market, and in some cases, sneak peak at stuff that is so new, its just not quite ready to be released. But let me say, there is some cool chit thats coming, and as soon as I get the info, I will share I took some pics of some of what I say that i thought was pretty cool. Hope to go back next year and do 2 shorter days.
