The Scosche does video if your head-unit supports it.

I have 3 amps Wet Sounds HT1, HT2, HT6. Without going into great lengths to determine battery power, ON AVERAGE for about 4 hrs per day, in your opinion would 2 100Amp/hr batteries be enough battery power or do I need 3? or would 3-24 series @ 82 amp hrs work? I do not have a perko switch and they only get charged via Pro Sport charger at night

                Dave,

It is always better to have more batteries that are cycled shallower, then fewer batteries that are cycled deeper. So yes, I think 2 100 Ah batteries will offer the play time, but they will be cycled deeper then 3 or 4.

What if he went 4 group 29 batteries and had a 140 amp alternator. Would the alternator recharge the system if say u went to party cove, ran the batteries down some, then went back out and boarded for an hour or so. Would the alternator recharge the battery bank, and still trickle charge it at night? That is my case, not to hijack the thread tho

Is there any reason why I could not use a high quality 14/2 speaker wire to run power to my WS 420, Ipod and sat radio,

or do I need specifically use power wire. Is it all the same??

                      14/2 speaker wire is fine.

I was planning to use a PAC LC-1 in my scheme to control to volume of the bow speakers.
Would it be possible to control 2 pair of speakers with 1 Pac control, and if so would it be a good idea to wire up the dash speakers to this control? The dash speaker sound bounces off the inside of the windshield and right into the drivers face. Does this make any sense or am I worrying about nothing.

                            Dave,

A single LC can control 2 amp chnls and how even many speakers are wired to those amps chnls. A single LC can have its output side split in order to control lets say, 4 chnls. This could be a single 4 chnl (ideal) or 2 chnls on one amp and 2 chnls of another amp for example. Down side is that all speaker being fed through that single LC will be at the same level, determined by said LC.

For your dash speakers, they need to be on their own 2 chnls so they can be gained way down to compensate for their acoustical advantage. This is better then placing them on a volume/level controller of some kind. Once you get them dialed in, its a set it and forget it. With a level controller, you will constantly be adjusting. Or, if you finally find the sweet spot and leave the knob alone, you've accomplished the same thing as you would have by using the gain dial, except with the added RCA runs and a dial.

                              On my plan I had:
                              Ch1 bow left
                              Ch2 bow right
                              Ch3 dash left
                              Ch 4 dash right
                              Ch 5 2 left cabin
                              Ch 6 2 right cabin

                              On the HT-6 amp on the back it has a separate gain for ch's 3 & 4 and a gain for ch's 5 &6.

So.... Because lower volume in bow is sometimes critical use the LC-1 to control those 2 bow speakers,
use the other 1 gain ( ch's 3 & 4) to tone down the dash,
and use the other gain for ch's 5 & 6 which will be for the 2 pair of 6200's?

On the HT-6 I am planning on using ch 5 and 6 for 4- KM6200 cabin speakers. Can I daisy chain the 2 speakers per channel or do I need to run separate speaker wires direct from the amp??
                                Thanks
