    Kicker KM6200 vs WetSounds SW-65?

I need to upgrade my in boat speakers. I'm trying to decide between the Kicker KM6200 and the WetSounds SW-65.
I don't need super high end and I'm not interested in spending the money for the SW-650's.

Any suggestions? I'll be running them from a Kicker ZXM700.5.

These two models are a very good comparison. Both have very similar power handling and will perform perfect on your ZXM700.5. Both are 6.5" mid-bass drivers with a .75" grill mounted tweeter, both are top notch quality built marine speakers. They have composite baskets and frames as opposed to stamped steel. Come with SS hardware as opposed to painted steel. UV inhibitors in all the construction materials to resist sun damage. The Kicker comes in a cool charcoal color grill with black cone and the Wet Sounds come in a silver grill/silver cone, silver grill/black cone and then the black or white closed grill SW series. So, in summery, neither is a bad choice. But, each has a distinct sound signature. IMO, the WS 65 series offers a little more mid-bass, where as the KM6200 has a little crisper highs. Again, you will not go wrong with either choice. This is where getting an audition is a bonus.
