Does anyone know if the Alpine CDA117 will run the MC20 remote?

Whats the difference between it and the 9886M?

Not marine. Other than that, very little.

The MC-20 for sure works with the 9886M and those two units carry the same retail price.

I found one for nearly half that price on close out. It appears that it is being phased out. I just can't figure out if it will work with the remote.

Thanks for all of your help and I hope all of you are having a great Thanksgiving. I decided to go ahead and buy the Sony unit. I was able to get a package for the CDX-H910UI and one RMX60M remotes for under $300. You guys are the best, don't know how I would make it thru the winter without this forum. The biggest problem I have is always gives me new ideas for my boat but each idea gets in my wallet.
