actually ported would need a larger box than sealed.....box looks to be about 1cuft, which as a sealed box is just about right for that sub. A little on the small side, but nothing that some polyfill can't take care of. Wetsounds wants 1.18 and you can make up that difference pretty easily with poly.

This is a great tip. From some quick reading, it looks like I need about 1 lb of polyfil for a 1cuft enclosure. Do I need to keep the polyfill away from the speaker driver? Or do I just stuff it in?

IF you wanted to use some, just loosely fill the enclosure to about 75%. Polly fill will compensate for a too small enclosure by absorbing the radiation off the back of the cone. The cool thing about a sealed box, they are sooo forgiving. A little small and its kinda peaky. A little too large, its more mellow. I would not worry about adding polly fill unless your box is really below the recommended sealed size.
