    Wetsounds ICON 8's

Thinking about a pair of the ICON 8's and a SYN2 and I was curious of everyone's thoughts on them. Will listen side by side with the REV 8's but my understanding is the ICON's are a warmer more midrange sound great for surfing. I am not as concerned about listening at 80 ft as we mostly surf these days. Always appreciate your insight!

based on chpthrls's recommendation, I'm hanging 4 on my tower. I listened to a set of rev10's at my tige dealer and they sound great, but like you, I don't board much anymore so the surf music is much more important and the rev10's although much improved, still sound like an hlcd speaker to me.

also will be nice to not be that boat that can be heard from 2 miles away. I like a clean loud stereo, but really don't want to listen to anyone elses.

The Rev series is just about perfect compromise for someone who primarily boards and surfs second. The Icon-8 is the absolute ideal way to go for a dedicated surf/party-cove setup. The Syn-2 or HT-2 are both perfect choices and both will allow for running to pair.
