    Adding 2 More tower speakers

I'm going to add 2 more JL Audio 7.7 tower speakers.

    Everything I have, I believe is all factory. Its a KX350.2 and a KX700.5

I have 2 JL Audio 7.7 already on the tower and 6 Polk audio cabin speakers along with an Alpine sub, didn't get the model on this one.

    The tower speakers are
    Continuous Power Handling (RMS)
    100 W
    Peak Music Power
    225 W
Recommended RMS Amplifier Power (per Ch.)
    40 - 175 W
    System Efficiency
    91.0 dB @ 1 W / 1 m
    System Nominal Impedance
    4 Ω
    System Frequency Response
    45 Hz - 25 KHz ± 3 dB

What should I do for amps and how do I get wire to the new tower speakers/add an amp? Or would you get rid of these amps for something else? I would like to spend as little as possible but make sure the speakers have the right power running to them.

    Thanks!

Just wire you new tower speakers up with the old ones, two speakers per channel on your kx350.2 amp. You will be fine.

If you don't know much about audio, ignore this so it doesn't confuse you. Right now you are running your tower speakers at 4ohms at 110watts per channel, when you wire in the other two speakers (red to red, black to black: two speakers on 1 channel) you will wire it down to 2ohms. The speakers will then be getting 175 watts per two speakers. All 4 speakers will then be getting around 85 watts each. this will be perfect for your budget. Although the speakers will be getting less power, I guarantee you won't notice the difference. Remember, you can safely wire in two speakers to each channel on your amps, Don't think if you have 6 speakers, you need a 6ch amp.

        Kyle,

double check the model number of the KX350. Tige typically used a 4 chnl KX350.4. Once we know for sure what amp is there and driving the towers, I can offer some suggestions.

Ok, cool. The KX350.2 will do just fine to run those 2 pair of JL's. All you need to do is run a jumper from the new speaker to the old speaker and connected each speakers + and - wires. No need to run additional wire all the way through the the tower, just a short section from one speaker to the next. Do this for the other side and you are set. At some point when your budget permits, then replace that km350.2 with a more powerful 2 chnl that will push those 4 7.7's to thier potential.
