Clarion CMD1 manual and screw locations

Hello,

I'm in the process of replacing our Clarion CMD1 with a CMD6 and don't have the original manual.

The biggest thing is the mounting screw location(s) and how to get access to them.
The space under the console is a bit tight for me to see.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your head-unit will have either two rubber black end pieces or plastic silver pieces running vertical on each end. The screws are behind them. The rubbers just pull off, but the plastic silver caps need to slide out away from the head-unit.
