I've been researching and can't seem to find the answer so I figured id post. I got the syn 4 and xs-650s coming in tomorrow and want to start rewiring my inboat speakers. The syn 4 is 2 ohm stable at 200w rms. I was thinking of running the bow speakers in parallel to chn1 and a pair of main cabins in parallel to chn2. Than running the other 2 cabins straight to amp at a 4ohm load. Would this be the correct way to do it?

No. You would have the bow in mono and the other rears in mono. and the other rears in stereo.
Run the bow on it's own chs 1-2 in stereo. Then run the back two pairs in parallel on ch 3-4. With 2 left speakers together and 2 right speakers together.
This is how they are wired at the factory as well.

Ok, so the bows would see 125 rms each and the pairs of cabins wired in parallel would see a 2 ohm load at the amp giving 100 watts rms to each? The main cabin speakers could have one wire from amp to each side than a jumper wire to tie the other speaker in making it in parallel. Hope that isn't to confusing but I'm assuming that would b correct? Thanks.Ain't no 1/2 steppin'

correct, 125 x2 to the front and 200x2 at 2 ohms to the rears split to each speaker so 100 to each. The power difference is minimal so no worries there.
yes you can run one wire and parallel at the speaker side but if running new wires, i prefer to run two sets and parallel at the amp. If you are going to parallel at the speaker side, make sure it is 12 ga wire.

just installed speakers, leds, and amp
Just a little up date with some pics, not much. I just rewired my whole boat tonight, mounted all the speakers and my amp. Took me about 2 hours and rewiring the boat went way better than I thought it would. Got it all wired up and turned on. I only have one rca for highs and one for sub coming out of the deck. The syn 4 has to have a front and rear to operate all the speakers. Im wondering if i need a splitter for the rcas if i can run one white to left and the red to the right side? I also wired up my leds the other night. Heres some pics!Ain't no 1/2 steppin'
