So I had a crap 4th of July, my amp kept turning off when I turn the volume up.. It seems like a power problem, the LED on on amp never comes on, and the one on the other blinks and comes on solid. It will start to blink again, and the speakers cut out. Does anyone have an idea if it is just power or ground issue, or is there something that would cause the them to do this. The stereo keeps playing, because the front two speakers are tied to the head unit, and they arn't effected by the amps turning off. Just trying to get a feel, I'm not the best with stereo stuff, and boating with no tunes really sucks!!!

Yes, it could be a voltage issue, so starting with a volt meter at the amp's B+ and GND terminals when the problem occures. Next, check the voltage at the remote turn-on terminal. If this voltage drops down, the amp will turn off as if the head-unit was turned off.
Could be a speaker that's showing too low of an impedance and sending the amp into protect mode.
Could be a clipping signal as a result of turning the volume too high.
Could be low voltage at the head-unit caused by a poor connection
Could be either an internal issue in either the amp or head-unit. Check the amp's manual, most of the time, the action of the lights means something.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Figured it out, the batteries are not able to put out enough to power up both amps... I switched to all three batteries, and they worked! I did find some loose connections, and fixed those. But I guess i should check my batteries and all connections at the start of each year, just because it starts, doesn't mean they are up to par!!
Thanks for the input!!
