SYN 6 FLASHING- 1 flash pause, and 2 flash

My Syn6 turns off at very high volume, and flashes a code for speaker wire short according to the book.

My Syn6 powers 2 xs650 bow speakers on channels 1-4 at 200rms each, at 4ohms , and channels 5-6 power 4 xs650 at 150rms at 2ohms. (i know its over kill, but the other way 4 would be under powered)

I checked all the connections at the amp first, and i had something that was not all that tight, but it did not fix the problem so i checked all the connections at the speakers, and they all seem good.

Any ideas besides chasing all the stock wiring, or rewiring everthing?

Owners manual will tell you what code the light sequence is representing.

It says speaker wire short,,, could be be any thing else? Kinda strange that just showed up, and everything has been running great. My deep cycle battery did not come to a full charge over night like normally does on a 6amp charge.

You can remove and ohm each speaker at the amp and see if any are too low. You can also run the amp with the removed and add one chnl back in at a time until the problem occurs again. This will tell you which speaker(s) you are needing to look closer at.
