Ok so today I thought I would start playing with the stereo in my boat. In boat speakers are 6 wet sounds xs-650's towers are 2 diamond audio's (not sure what exactly) and sub is a clarion 10" free air. Amps are 2 syn4. So I went and turned the gains down on the amps so I could start with one gain setting at a time. I turned the volume up about 3/4 to full and then started. The thing I'm not sure about is there was still music playing even with the gains all the way down? Is that normal? I'm not sure how they have anything wired as it was all in the boat when I bought it. I'm planing on changing the sub to a xs 10fa cause I know it can handle more power and should sound better. Any input on if I'm starting my tunning corectly would be great.
