Installed the first of many upgrades to come. Went with a MB Quart WM1 reciever with the wired remote. It orginally had a JVC tape player with remote. Had to add a plate to cover up the old hole the guy cut into the glove box but it turned out pretty good I though. The second pic shows just how large of a hole was there from the old cover.

Would have like to glassed the hole in and fixed that way but Im not a body man and since its in the glove box the diamond plate worked perfectly. I hook up Ipod to it, probably never open the glove box anyways since remote will work everything.Comment

I'm pretty sure glassing would be a terrible idea for me to take on Having said that I've got an '85 inboard that needs new floors and stringers so I might dive into it at some point.
Ya, I'm toying with the idea of dropping my HU altogether and just running an iPhone into an AUX in on an EQ...but then we still have to control everything from the iPhone. So contemplating upgrading my HU so I can use remotes to control. Somebody just posted on here yesterday about a new Clarion with built in bluetooth and integrated pandora control...so I may pick one of those up to make use of remotes.Comment
