    Wet Sounds XXX Install Pics

Im considering doing a XXX V2 in my RZR in a ported enclosure. Does anyone have any install pics of the enclosure under the driver's helm? Is the space under the driver's helm of my boat different than the RZ2?

I don't mind taking up some leg room. I'm really trying to figure out how much cutting of the back wall I'm gonna have to do and how much storage space I'll lose behind the flip up bow seat. I normally keep 3 blown up bumpers there and a 4th one deflated.

Ok so we went ahead and cut the wall out today under the driver's helm. Staying under the board that has all the electronics mounted to it, I only have about 10" of height. Initially I thought about building the enclosure in 2 pieces; one box that mounts to the wall that was cut out and another that has the woofer in it and mounts to the other enclosure. The port really complicates this too much.

I know a few people have moved or relocated some of the components there. How much clearance were you able to get and how difficult was it? I'm thinking I need about 6". I didn't have a lot of time to really look at it closely as I had a few other projects I needed to complete.

    Any insight?

Corey at WWS here in Denver fit a Kicker 15" in there with relocating stuff.

That's awesome! I bet it pounds! I want all that stuff under the dash to be accessible above the enclosure without having to take the box out, but just by removing the trim panel over the sub.

            Hey mate,

I have a '12 RZR on the way to me here in Australia.

I'm looking at putting XXX sub in the drivers helm and was looking thru the forum and came across your post.

How did you go getting yours in....or did you deide not to do it?

I look forward to hearing from you.

            Cheers

            Craig

No heater in my boat. There are 2 panels below the helm; the one that the factory subwoofer is mounted to and a piece above it that the sub panel clips into.
