    Is amps good enough

While my boat was in storage this winter the new stereo system I put in it last summer got stolen. Everything was stolen except the amplifiers. I have recently purchased 1 Set of Rev 8's and a set of Pro 60's from wet sounds. My question is if the 2 MX700.5 Kicker amps that didnt get stolen will be able to power the new tower speakers? The amp will also need to power 3 sets of XS-650 for the inside.

Why do you have 2 hybrid 5 chnl amps, are you driving 2 subs? If so, what model subs are they?

You will need a single MX700.5 to power the 6 in-boats and a sub systems, so on eis out of the equation.

If you where to power the 2 sets of tower speakers with the 4 full-range chnls of the 2nd MX700.5, each speaker would only be receiving 70W rms. Thats half the ideal power I would want to power the Pro60's with and would way underutilized the Rev-8. If your goal is strictly surfing, then you might be content with the setup. But, for surfing, there are better single-pair options that could be bridged on that 700.5. The new Icon-8's are an 8" coax surf speaker. They would be ideal with the available 175W x 2 if you are in a position that that amp needs to stay.

If you are not bound to keeping that amp, then at a minimum, I would go with a Syn-4 at 125W x 4 to each.

Or, trade the pro60's in for a 2nd pair of Rev-8 and drive them with a Syn-2.

I'm not bound to keeeping the amp. I just already had them in the boat and was curious if they could power the new tower speakers. From what i understand from your post the amp will power the inside speakers and the XS 10-FA sub i ordered. After I pull the 2nd amp out which amp will I need to go back with to to run the REV 8's and the Pro 60's I ordered.

Correct, the MX700.5 will drive the 6 in-boats in the XS-10FA just fine.

The Syn-2 will deliver 175W RMS to each of your four tower speakers. Or a Syn-6 would deliver 200W rms to each Rev-8 and 155W rms to each Pro60. Same overall power, but the ability to tune the Rev8 and Pro60 independently.
