My Wifes Problem is My Problem

Ok heres the problem. My wife always sitting up in the bow when were out on the water. I like to crank the tunes abit and she's always tellings me to turn it down. So her problem becomes my problem.

Solution... a quick and easy way to control the volume on the bow speakers...heres my set up Chpthrl, (hint hint)

Is it possible to just connect bow speaker wires directly to the deck? I know I wont get near the power but I really need to solve this issue.

    2-6.5's in bow,
2-6.5's AND 2- 6x9's in main cabin area.

You can run a set of RCA's direct from the headunit "front" RCA outputs to the zx-350.4's "Amp-1" inputs. Then use the fader to bring down the bow signal while the head-units master volume level feeding the ZXM-RLC remains. You end up with 2.5 zones.

That would also fade the 2 6.5's in rear cabin as well?? If so I'm thinking with the 6x9's it wouldnt be too much of a issue??

Good catch, I forgot you had the 6x9's in there too. Ok, let me do some digging a volume controller for going in line of the speaker wires. They have 2 chnl outdoor ones for home system....my son was looking at them today to put one on the back deck with a couple of Kicker KB boxes.

So,,, does is this what you are referring to?

RCA's from deck (front) to Amp 1 of the 350.4
leave the RCA "Y" from the dual zone remote to Amp 2 of the 350.4

Wouldn't I be able to use the deck to control front level?
