Winter Stereo Upgrade Project - Exile Setup

Ok, I know there have all ready been a few of these threads, but I thought I would post mine anyways.

    Old setup:
    - DC Audio 8 level 2 in a custom made box mounted behind the helm that was ported
    - Rockford Fosgate Prime R500-1
    - No tower speakers
    - No in boat speaker amp

    What's being installed:
    - Exile SXT65q, 2 pair
    - Exile Xi1K Harpoon amplifier to run the SXTs
    - Exile Xi800.4 to run my inboats
    - JL Audio XD600.1 amp for the sub
    - JL Audio 12w6
    - Clarion EQS746 EQ (zone controller)

    Side Note on sub:
The JL 12w6 needs comparable space for a box as the exile Xi12 DVC sub. I will be replacing the JL Audio sub with the exile sub and amp combo either midway through teh summer, or next season, or if there is a sale or promo that I just can't pass up.

    Details about this install:
My buddy owns a shop here in town, and is letting me work on my boat when I can here and there. He is however going to help me with the box construction and installation. Luckily for me he owns a custom stereo shop here in town.

Here are a few pictures of what I got done over this past weekend.

Mounted the tower speakers to mark where I am going to drill:

Taped off the lower tower leg and marked where I am going to drill:

Got the old sub and amp taken out:

Also should mention a THANKS to CHP for his posts on how to wire up the E series tower. Plus the phone conversations that we had about the wiring up the tower.

Just dont forget the put the rubber gasket back in place before you pass the wire through the deck

CHP, if you take a closer look you will see that I taped the gasket in place so I can drill the hole(s) at the same time.
Going to try and finish the tower speaker installation this weekend if possible.

So here is the latest. I got the holes drilled in the tower, and have the wires prepped. Ran the wire down the tower, but not all the way. Got interrupted so I didn't get a chance to drill the port side hole at the bottom of the tower.

Went down to the shop today because it was either work on the boat, or the wife was going to make me paint. The latest:

                    - Tower speakers mounted, and the wire completely ran down the tower
                    - TOTALLY forgot to get pictures of the hole that I drilled. DOH!
                    - Ran the power, ground, and RCA wires for the amps
                    - Mounted the EQ

                    Speakers Mounted:

Wire completely ran down the tower:

Wire ran into the port storage compartment:

I am hoping to get the sub knocked this week. I have to head to Ohio on the 18th, and I won't be back until the 26th. Here is a pick with the amps trying to figure out how I want them. I am following in your footsteps maj.
