L.O.U.D.
I had bullet hollowpoints powered by an arc ks300.2 on the old boat. The revs are definitely louder and have punchier midbass. But what I notice more than the volume is the quality of the sound. In order to get the bullets loud enough to hear at the end of the rope you had to crank it up so high that it would rip your face off in the boat and the sound quality close up was awful. The SQ in the boat with the revs is great, to the point that it's totally reasonable to leave the stereo faded to the tower when you are just sitting around floating and want some sound in the boat (we aren't "crank it up at the sandbar" types... the system is usually only loud when someone has the handle in their hand).
Wakesurfing it is so loud that I've actually asked my wife to turn it down while I was surfing (that's a first!).Comment
