    syn 2 settings?

I have a factory setup in my tige with a syn 2 running a pair of pro 60s. (syn6 running inboats/amp) Initially had some issues with my sounds which ended being a short but in trying to determine what was wrong i turned some knobs here and there. So now im noticing my tower speaker arent really putting out much sound. If one were to place "default" amp settings for this setup what might they be? If for the syn2, what might they be for the syn6 as well?

    Thanks a ton

You can download the Syn2 owners manual in PDF right off the Wet Sounds website. Having it will make the fallowing a little easier to understand.

Wet Sounds has specific settings for that amp just to Tige. I do not know those exact settings, but here is where I would set them if I was installing one with a set of Pro60s:

    Input Mode: Stereo
    Freq Range: X1 mode
    Crossover Filter: Hi-Pss
Crossover Freq: 120-150 Hz (So 1-2 clicks past 110)
    Bass Boost: 0

Gain: This needs to be set fallowing a procedure. I think Wet Sounds has one outlined that can be downloaded. Also, one has been posted here on the forum, so a search should find it. I think that you will find that the gain will fall right at about the 11 Oclock position, with "MIN" being at the 7 oclock position and "MAX" being 5 Oclock position.

So youve got a Syn4 powering a pair of Pro60 and Pro80. No worries, the settings are the same, just two sets to adjust. For the amp half thats powering the 60's, use what I have outlined above. For the half powering the 80's, the only difference is the Cross-over Freq. I would set it to about 80Hz.
