will it retain the dock connector (and / or have a lightning connector) too? Or better yet just a usb receptacle where a cord of your choice could be plugged in?

No brand-specific connectors. USB charging outlet.
More to follow

Got a set of these in on Friday and got them installed on the display this morning. The light effect is awesome! These are the KM6LC. The "C" is for charcoal grill and they come in white as well.
The KM6000 is staying the same for now.
The KM6200 is now available with a white grill in addition to the charcoal. I really like the white! There is also a 2 ohm version of the KM6200 charcoal, for greater amplifier flexibility.
Also, the KM-10 Marine 10" sub will also be available with a white grill. I think thats gonna look badd@$$ on a white boat with that white grill and black cone
Still more new cool stuff to come!

Hard to believe its been that long since this thread was updated.
For those that missed it, last year Kicker released a whole new line of marine in-boats ranging from a 4", 6.5" and an 8", which comes with RGB LEDs. They have a pod w/clamps for the 4" as well. For more flexibility, you can get the KM4 and KM65 in both a 4 ohm and 2 ohm.
The also released 3 new class-d marine amps, a 2 chnl, 4 chnl and a 5 chnl.
This year, as in right now, they have released a new 1200 x 1 @ 2 ohm marine mono amp......BOOM!
They have also revamped and expanded their PX amp line and now offer a 200.1, 200.2, 300.4 and 500.1. All geared toward bikes, golf carts, side x sides, etc.
Im sure there's more to come

I've had kicker components in car system before and they were impressive. Sounds like they are putting out some good marine options. I'm looking at tweeking my system. Do you typically want to power speakers/subs to peak RMS?
Im always in favor of pairing a driver up with an amp that has a rated RMS thats higher than the driver's. Reason being, is that when you look at an amp's printed spec, you will see thats its typically measured at 14.5V. This is unrealistic, even with the engine running above idle. So with a normal engine speed, you can expect 10% drop in the amps output, due to the supply voltage. With the engine off and the battery at its static 12.5V, you can expect a 20% drop in the amp's output. To take it even further, you can get in headroom v's RMS. Anytime you you drive a speaker above its rated RMS, you are able to achieve desired volume, with the source unit's volume at a lower setting. This means you get a cleaner more stable signal into the amp and less chance of clipping or distortion. This is especially true for tower speakers and sub woofers. With a tower speaker up in the air with no reinforcing boundaries, coupled with with how we use tower speakers, feeding them ample power is essential. When we have 4-6 in-boats, you get the bathtub effect. You can get plenty of output without driving them hard, so going over the RMS is typically not needed, but never hurts.

Heres Kicker's booth from the 2015 IBEX show last week.
We now have new 8" tower speaker pods for the KM-8, that will come in white and black. The existing 6.5" pods will also come in white and black. Both will allow for the RGB LED wiring
You can also see a square L7 series woofer with an LED. These are also new and come in a marine version to now match the existing KM series coax. Chrome grills is also now an option.
Kicker also has a marine source unit, the KMC10 and KMC20. These were first released as an OEM about a year ago and used by Supreme. They are now OEM for Epic and Axis. These 2 new source units will now be available to us as an aftermarket.
