    adding tower speakers

Getting ready to add tower speakers and need a good thread or website with pics of their install as I have fears of cutting into the wrong places on my tower. Any help will be appreciated!

What speakers are you getting? Shouldn't be any cutting involved.

Really need to know what boat, year and tower you have in order to give you any real direction. The Z and E series towers will get fished differently. Also, the speaker may mount on a different bar due to tube size. The E series it 2.5 Dia and the Z is 3" Die, except for the front hoop. Most of the entry-level speaker clamps will not fit the 3", so if you have a Z, they would need to be located on the front hoop. Also, in 2008, the Tige bimini wraps around the read hoop, so this forces the speakers to the rear hoop, unless you have the bimini modified.

I have posted some pics and tutorials from a few of the installs I have done, try the search button at the top and see what comes up.

2008 z1 w/ wrap around top. The tower is a Z tower to the best of my knowledse. It has the Tige emblems on the side of it where the rotating board racks are.

I think you've got an "E" series, as I do not recall the "Z" being offered on the 100" beam Z1.

Cruise the site and find a pic and link it to us. Also, the "E" is the same size tube all the way around and the "Z" is 3" tube except for the front hoop, its 2.5.
