Wetsounds 80 tower speakers not loud

Ok, my new tower speakers will not play very loud at all. I checked the connections and fuses but all are ok. Spoke to the factory at Tige and the settings are set like they said. Any ideas why they will not play as loud as the others when the volume is being turned up? I have two amps that run the whole system which includes 6 floor speakers, subwoofer , and the tower speakers. All other speakers play great.

Did you try fading the speakers? They may be hooked to the rear output of the head unit.

I will check that tomorrow. I did mess with the balance and fader settings at the control head but didn't notice a difference. Would they be on the fade to rear setting I guess? Would that not make the other speakers hard to hear if I faded to the tower ones?

I found I had to turn the (high/mid/low) gain down on my interrior speakers and MAX the gain on the tower amp to get those puppies blastin. I even played with the freq to get more mid/top range without the nasty distortion for the towers.
I only have two pro 60s so you shouldn't have to take measures as drastic as I have to get good sound for boarding/surfin

SIR.....STOP RIGHT THERE, PUT YOUR HANDS UP AND STEP AWAY FROM THE GAIN KNOBS!

Seriously, gain setting knobs are NOT volume knobs and treating them as such will end up damaging your gear. Wet Sounds has those amps set correctly upon installation at the factory. Also changing the cross-over filters from High-pass to to Full-Pass or Low-pass will certainly blow a speaker to two.

Not trying to an asre, just bad advice to be passing along

Took the Z1 into Tige and special thanks to James and Harvey for getting my Wetsounds working great. Sounds like a totally different system when tuned right. Got the sound system fixed, graphics trimmed up, and 20 hr service done. Now ready for the lake and a 4 day vacation at Lake LBJ at the end of July.
