    450.2 kicker amp

    Hey fellas,

My kicker 450.2 amp will not turn off. I tried pulling the remote wire, changing the turn on settings, and still won't turn off only way to shut it down is pull the power wire or turn off the batteries. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    That is sure weird!

Did you try disconnecting the RCA cables? Just curious.... We can try trouble-shooting a little, but we may get you to send it in for warranty repair.

    It's not an optical illusion.
    It just looks like one.....

I just thought of something... BY CHANCE is there a small little single of strand of wire from the positive power lead that is somehow touching the turn-on connection? Maybe????

Pulled RCA and still on with the amp in audio turn on mode. And I checked for crossover to the remote and didn't find any stray wires.. I thought it was weird as well..

Well, that is just plain weird. Even Rolls Royce cars sometimes need service.... No the amp is not built in Britain either

You can either call customer service toll-free at (800) 256 - 0808 and request an RA number for repair, or you can e-mail me at pwhite@kicker.com. I will need your mailing address, model number etc. so our repair guys can get it shipped back out to ya. Either way, you will get an RA number, and you want to include that in correspondence and also put it on the outside of the shipping carton. We turn stuff around in 24 hours or less, so you won;t be without the amp for long.

Let us know? Hope we get you fixed quick!
