I put a couple of cheap MTX speakers on my tower and I don't know what to do with the wires. Right now I have them run through the tower to the port side. I could not run the wires through the base plate of the tower so I just drilled a hole next to it. I know it's not the best way to go but it's done... Do you guys have any suggestions to make it look better. I was trying to find something like a through hull fitting that was really small but have had no luck. Thanks for any advice you may have!!

i tried to redo the wiring for my tower speakers as the dealership had used cheap wiring and split the connection instead of running a line for each speaker. I have no clue how the dealership was able to run it through originally as i failed miserably at running new wire. i am pretty sure you need to remove the tower where it attaches to the boat. I will be dropping boat off at a stereo shop i have dealt with and they said it wouldnt be a problem.

After I drilled the holes in the tower, I used a piece of thread wrapped to a cotton ball.
I then used a vacuum to suck the cotton ball through the tower and out the other side. I used the thread to pull a stronger string through and then used the string to pull the wires.
In your case, I would have used the old wires to pull the new ones.Tige, it's a way of life!
