Just got my WS420 install and everything works except the Microphone. When you press the button on Mic. the sound on the tower mutes, but volume is so low can barely hear it on the stern of the boat. I have a 4 channel amp the powers both the cabin and tower speakers. I had the mic. volume at max and tried turning all the equalizer knobs to their extreme to see if I could increase the volume level but to know avail. Any suggestions or could it just be a faulty unit.

Just make sure the mic is in the right socket and fully seated. Whats the head-unit volume set to?
