Long story short, I got the ZXMRLC and it comes with 2 controls and I already had 1 control for the bass on the ZX700.5. There is a nice spot on the RZ2 dash where the bass knob was already located but it is not wide enough for all 3 switches side by side so I thought I made this prototype to see if I could come up with something. Don't laugh too hard, this is my first attempt.
Cutting plexiglass is not my thing but I learned a lot along the way. I have 2 5mm LED's in it too. I should be able to do the 2nd one better now that I have learned all of the tricks. My vinyl skills are a little rusty.
First pic is the spot on the dash where the control would go. I made a paper template and then cut the plexi to match the contour. In the other pics, the top is open right now but that is the side that would mount up against the dashboard and not be seen.
