3rd batt or high output alt.?

So now that I have added a 3rd amp and will be upgrading the tower speakers.
Would I be better off with adding a 3rd battery or going with a higher output alt.The volt meter is kind of got me worried ever since I added the third amp. Has not really caused me any problems yet..but i am looking to avoid any if I can.

Depends on how you want to use the system. Batteries and an onboard charger are cheaper them an alt that will really recharge a dead battery bank.

'bout 3.5 hrs east. Robbinsville is near Nantahala NF almost to TN.

Yeah I got a place in Robinsville we are coming up in July. Wanted to see if I had time to make a road trip over to your shop. What major cities or attractions you near?
Not taking the boat. Might bring the mountain bike and see if I can find some fun.

I am 15 minutes west of the Charlotte NC airport. We have the Carowinds theme park and the new Nascar Hall of Fame to start with. Which way would you be coming? Probably 95 to 26W to Columbia then keep going 26W to Ashville? We are 1.5hrs north of Columbia straight up 77. From there, you can take 85 to 321 then north to 40 then west to Ashville. Then from there I guess you would take 19/74 wast, etc, etc, etc.

I have 3 alpine pdx 4-150 amps and 2 blue top optima batteries just for the stereo. The batteries last both Saturday and Sunday while playing it pretty hard. I put chargers on the batteries Sunday night. If I play it longer or harder on Saturday I will charge them Saturday night and Sunday I charge them seperately.
