    Installing Sub Box

I have my pre-made carpeted box inside my driver side console. Do I use a silicone or would a construction adhesive be better between the face of the box and inside of the wall. Thkx.

Im guessing you are loading the box from the back and the sub will drop in the front. Silicone will work jusy fine to seal the box to the wall, providing screws will be used to secure the box to the wall.

You may have already done this or know it needs to be done, so just excuse this if you have. The carpet will need to be striped from the face of the enclosure and from the bulk-head wall where the box will go. This will give you a good clean surface to create a seal.

Getting the carpet glue off is a major PITA.

No I didnt. I did however put a very thick bead of acoustic Sealant right around opening. If it is super crucial it shouldnt be too hard to pull apart if i have to
